Who We Are

History of Our Mission

Apostles4Jesus is a self-managed, self-funded, and self-ruled organization founded in April 2019 by Karam Shammas and Laith Koja, members of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Troy, Michigan. Later, Dr. Adnan Traboulsi, a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Houston, joined as theological supervisor.

Our Ministry Mission Statement

The mission of Apostles4Jesus is to preach and teach the Orthodox Faith both in Arabic and English to all people worldwide, to make Orthodox Christians more involved in their faith, and to share with non-Orthodox the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ as expressed and delivered to us within the Holy Orthodox Church.

Karam Shammas

Karam Shammas

With a background in mechanical engineering, Karam studied theology at St. Joseph's Cathedral. Karam was converted from Catholicism to Orthodoxy by an Orthodox priest in the Sultanate of Oman. Karam was active in the church since his childhood and absorbed from Orthodoxy.

He obtained a diploma in theology from the St. John of Damascus Institute at the University of Balamand in 2019. Karam is the founder, TV director, and has a long experience in TV production, responsible for program development and public relations.

Laith Koja

Laith Koja

With a background in Computer and Network Engineering and with long experience in business management and development, Laith studied religions comparison from an early age of his life. Also he studied the theological differences among the Christian churches.

Laith came from the Chaldean Catholic Church and was converted into Orthodoxy after a long search and aggressive study. Laith is a founder, producer, program director and website designer. Laith is well educated in the Orthodox faith.

Dr. Adnan Traboulsi, MD

Dr. Adnan Traboulsi, MD

Dr. Traboulsi is a very well known author of more than 14 published books in Arabic and English, and has a long experience in teaching, preaching in Orthodox theology. Dr. Traboulsi is a disciple of late Father Spiro Jabbour, the brilliant theologian and author in the Antiochian Church.

Dr. Traboulsi is the mission supervisor and educational and theological director and advisor, and active in outreach program. Dr. Traboulsi is a Pediatrician practicing in Houston, Texas.
